Summary

Clarifies and restructures how burial benefits for urns or plaques are described in federal law. The bill would change the wording in 38 U.S.C. §2306(h)(1)(A), adjust a cross-reference from paragraph (3) to paragraph (2), remove the existing paragraph (2) and renumber the remaining paragraphs, and make those changes apply to individuals who die on or after January 5, 2021.
