Flexible funding for Hoover Dam work
If enacted, Interior would be able to use money from the Colorado River Dam Fund. This includes money in account XXXR5656P1 recovered on a non-reimbursable basis. The money could pay for Hoover Dam operations, maintenance, cleanup, and capital upgrades. Spending would be limited to Boulder Canyon Project activities or land used to build or run the dam. Interior would need to consult Boulder Canyon Project contractors named in the 2011 Hoover Power law. This would take effect when enacted.
