Shelter dogs for Border Protection staff

If enacted, the Department of Homeland Security would set up a pilot inside U.S. Customs and Border Protection. It would start within 60 days after enactment. CBP would adopt dogs from local shelters and train them as support dogs for its Support Canine Program. The pilot would end three years after it starts. This section does not include new funding.
