Telehealth mental health visits for Medicaid
You would be covered for up to 12 mental health visits by telehealth each calendar year. This would apply only if you are enrolled in your State Medicaid plan or a waiver. You must be under home confinement ordered by a court and have been incarcerated in a public institution immediately before that confinement. Coverage would only include telehealth visits that occur during the period of home confinement. It would start for people released from a public institution on or after the date of enactment of this Act.
