Stop Secret Counseling of Students Act

Sponsored By: Representative Luna, Anna Paulina [R-FL-13]

Introduced

Summary

Prohibits gender-related counseling for students under 18 in public K–12 schools and bars school staff or contractors from helping students hide a gender identity or social transition from parents. It would add this rule to the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) framework and condition ESEA funds on compliance while giving parents a federal right to seek injunctive relief.
