U.S. Mint sells bronze medal copies
This bill would let the Treasury strike a gold medal and require the U.S. Mint to produce it. It would let the Mint strike and sell bronze duplicate medals at prices set to cover production costs. Proceeds from those sales would be deposited into the U.S. Mint Public Enterprise Fund. The Fund could be charged amounts necessary to pay for the medals. The bill would also treat these medals as national medals and as numismatic items under federal law.
