S1155119th Congress

A bill to amend the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000 to make technical corrections.

Sponsored By: Senator Hyde-Smith, Cindy [R-MS]

Passed Senate

Summary

Fixes internal cross-references in the Trafficking Victims Protection Act. This bill would amend Section 103 (22 U.S.C. 7102) by replacing certain subparagraph references: in paragraph (16) it strikes subparagraph (9) and inserts (11), and in paragraph (17) it replaces subparagraph (9) or (10) with (11) or (12). The change is a technical renumbering to realign cross-reference structure within that section.
