Increasing Access to Dental Insurance Act

Summary

Expands access to standalone dental plans by letting people enroll through federal Exchanges without signing up for a health plan. This bill would add a new subsection to Section 1321 of the Affordable Care Act that prohibits the Secretary from blocking qualified individuals from enrolling in standalone dental plans offered through an Exchange solely because they are not also enrolled in a qualified health plan.
