Higher Medicare payments for ambulances

This bill would raise Medicare payments for ground ambulance rides furnished from October 1, 2025 through December 31, 2027. During that period, payments for services covered by clause (i) would be 4.3% higher and services covered by clause (ii) would be 3.4% higher. Super Rural ambulance services would get a 26.7% increase for the same dates. The bill would also push the normal baseline change to January 1, 2028. These increases would apply per ambulance trip when the provider is enrolled in Medicare.
