Annual review of federal sensitive sites

This bill would let the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States make a regulated list of U.S. Government facilities and property that are sensitive for national security. The list could include some intelligence community sites and National Laboratories. Each CFIUS member would annually review that agency's listed sites and send a report, approved by an Assistant Secretary or equivalent, by January 31. CFIUS periodic reports would list notices, declarations, and completed reviews or investigations tied to those sites and certify that suggested updates were considered. If certain Members of Congress ask, the Chair would give a classified briefing to the Member and cleared staff about the list.
