Federal gaming rules for two tribes
This bill would make the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act apply to gaming on Ysleta del Sur Pueblo lands. It would also make IGRA apply to gaming on Alabama-Coushatta Tribe lands. It would repeal sections 107 and 207 of the Restoration Act to remove conflicting rules. If enacted, tribal casinos on those lands would be regulated the same as other tribes under IGRA. This could increase federal oversight and compliance duties for those tribes and their gaming operators.
