Veteran Suicide Spousal Career Services Act

Summary
Expands Disabled Veterans' Outreach Program career services to certain spouses. This bill would let specified spouses receive DVOP career services alongside veterans. Eligible spouses are those listed in 38 U.S.C. 4101(5), spouses of people who died while serving in the Armed Forces, and spouses of people who died by suicide with a service-connected disability. The bill inserts “eligible persons” into multiple DVOP provisions so those spouses can get employment help, training referrals, and placement services under the program.

It would add the phrase "eligible persons" alongside "eligible veterans" in multiple parts of 38 U.S.C. 4103A.
