More support for parenting foster youth
If enacted, this bill would let States use funds under the foster-youth support program to pay for tailored case management and resource coordination for expectant or parenting youth who are eligible for those services. It would also require States to connect foster youth in eligible families with evidence-based home visiting and related supports under section 511 and to certify that they give those youth information about available home visiting programs. These changes would take effect one year after enactment and would apply only to State plans approved by the Secretary of Health and Human Services on or after that date. You would get these services only if your State includes them in its approved plan.
