Medicaid same-day mental and primary care
This bill would allow State Medicaid plans to pay for both a mental health service and a primary care service given to the same person on the same day at the same outpatient office, clinic, or facility. It would stop a plan from denying payment for one service just because the other happened that same day. The services must otherwise be payable under the plan and may be furnished by the same provider or different providers at that location. The bill would not change who is eligible for Medicaid, add new funding, or set an effective date in this text.
