Families lose hearing-aid loan program

The law repeals Delaware’s Hearing Aid Loan Bank. The program had loaned hearing aids to children under age 3 for six months, with up to three-month extensions. Families can no longer get loaner devices from the state. The Division of Public Health no longer stocks the bank. The law provides no transition or replacement program.
