Starting Oct 1, 2025, car dealers pay a $100 application fee and $50 each year to renew. Dealerships must also hold a yearly dealer business license from the Division of Revenue. Wholesale dealers must also get a wholesale license.
Starting Oct 1, 2025, a new driver’s license costs $50 (was $40). Renewing a non‑CDL Class A or B license costs $50 (was $40). Getting a duplicate or replacement ID card costs $10 (was $5). You do not pay a replacement license fee if you show a valid Delaware personal credential card. Children in DSCYF custody and people who meet §9011A(g) do not pay the replacement fee.
