Clearer prescribing for opioid use disorder

The law expands what counts as a patient-practitioner relationship for writing prescriptions. Treatment for opioid use disorder counts when you and your provider have a proper relationship under Delaware law. Within that relationship, prescribers can use FDA-approved Schedule III, IV, or V medicines for opioid use disorder. This makes it simpler for patients to get these medicines and for clinicians to prescribe them.
