Odessa homeowners and businesses face tougher collections

The law gives the Odessa Town Treasurer the same tax collection powers as New Castle County Finance. It covers all town taxes and other charges that are past due. The Treasurer can use the monition method of sale under Delaware law to collect debts. Tax rates do not change, but people who owe face stronger enforcement.
