Home dialysis patients get direct shipments

The law lets a drug maker or its agent deliver home dialysis drugs and devices straight to you. The items must be FDA-approved and in the original sealed package. The company must be registered with the Delaware Board as a manufacturer or wholesaler. Delivery only happens after a practitioner writes a prescription. They can deliver to you or your designee for self-use, or to your provider or facility. This delivery does not require a pharmacy license.
