Harrington can add up to 3% lodging tax

The City of Harrington can charge a lodging tax of up to 3% of the room rent. It applies to hotel, motel, and tourist home rooms within the city. This is on top of the state lodging tax. Lodging businesses must collect and send the tax to the city. The authority is effective March 4, 2024.
