Clear Title IX contacts and reporting at schools

The law requires all schools that get federal funds and are covered by Title IX to protect students, staff, and faculty from sex discrimination and harassment. If a school has a website, it must post a clear Title IX section that explains the roles of the coordinator, investigator, and decision‑maker, and lists the coordinator’s name, email, office address, and phone. The page must link to the school’s Title IX policy manual, the complaint form, and the U.S. Office for Civil Rights Title IX FAQs. It must state that students, staff, and faculty can file a complaint and can get supportive measures even if there is no investigation, with examples of those measures. At the start of each school year, the Title IX coordinator must send staff and faculty a written reminder on how to report sex‑based discrimination.

No new website required for Title IX info

The law does not require a school to create a website to meet the Title IX posting rules. If a school does not already have a website, it is not required to make one.
