The law deleted expired rules that named the Lieutenant Governor’s official headquarters and allowed patrol officer assignments to certain officials for the 2024–2025 fiscal year, effective July 1, 2025. It also removed a citizen support group authorization for the Department of State’s intergovernmental programs effective October 1, 2025. These administrative permissions are no longer in law.
On July 1, 2025, the law removed one-time rules for 2022–2023 school and district grades and paused school improvement ratings. It also ended a required independent review of the student screening and progress system. Schools now follow the regular accountability rules.
