Analyzed Economic Effects

2 provisions identified: 2 benefits, 0 costs, 0 mixed.

Appraisal step waived for park land

The law waives appraisal rules for this land transfer. 2 GCA § 2107(b) and related legislative appraisal steps do not apply. This lets the park expansion transfer move ahead without an appraisal.

More burial space at Limtiaco Park

The law transfers Lot 258 (45,793 square meters) in Piti to Parks and Recreation to expand the Vicente A. Limtiaco Memorial Park. Parks and Recreation gets title only as long as the land is used to expand the park. The deed must state this. If the land is used for anything else, it returns to the Government of Guam. These rules take effect immediately. The lot is shown on Map No. 994957.
