More recognition on Guam veteran plates

Eligible veterans can ask to print the war or operation they served in, like the Vietnam War or Operation Iraqi Freedom. Other names need written approval from the Guam Office of Veterans Affairs. A line below the number holds decals for medals or combat recognition, such as PURPLE HEART or SILVER STAR. If you meet Guam’s legal definition of a person with a disability (Title 16, § 7120.1), your plate shows the International Symbol of Accessibility in the same size as the letters and numbers. Plate numbers use blue letter-and-number codes that mark your branch or group, like Army, Navy, Marine Corps, or National Guard.

Standard design for Guam veteran plates

Veteran plates keep the standard plate size and shape. They show “VETERAN” in black below “GUAM USA,” with the U.S. flag on the left and the Guam flag on the right. The Department of Revenue and Taxation picks a graphic on the left of the number; it can sit above the zone line if you add one. Colors and design follow Exhibit A and Exhibit B.
