Land for Special Olympics Guam facility

The Government of Guam grants Lot No. 10063-REM-PTN-I in Dededo to Special Olympics Guam. The lot is about 5,432 square meters (about 58,470 square feet). It is for an office and training facility to support athletes. The Department of Land Management surveys the lot and places monuments. The law takes effect upon enactment.

Special Olympics land use rules and limits

To keep the land, the group must use it for this purpose within five years, and it must not dissolve. If not, the land reverts to the Chamorro Land Trust Commission. The deed includes a reversion right so the Commission can take it back if rules are broken. The group must keep its nonprofit, tax-exempt status. It must pay all utility bills and indemnify the Government of Guam for injuries or damage on the site. It cannot assign, mortgage, pledge, encumber, or lease the property. No party may place a mechanic's lien on the property.
