3 provisions identified: 1 benefits, 1 costs, 1 mixed.
Beginning July 1, 2025, covered first responders cannot get workers' compensation for post-traumatic stress injuries caused by personnel actions. These include discipline, duty changes, job evaluations, or firing. The restriction applies to injuries or occupational-disease symptoms that appear on or after July 1, 2019.
Physician and osteopathic physician license applicants no longer need to include a fingerprint-based criminal history check with their application. The provision does not specify an effective date.
Beginning July 1, 2024, Idaho school districts use set amounts to calculate state funding for two staff groups. Administrative staff funding equals the district's administrative staff allowance multiplied by $44,446. Classified staff funding equals the district's classified staff allowance multiplied by $39,966. These are funding formulas, not guaranteed individual salaries; the provisions do not state whether total funding rises or falls.
