Mandeville can acquire state land

Louisiana’s transportation secretary can transfer or lease all or part of a specific state-owned lot to Mandeville. The property is Lot 67, Lakewood Heights, Phase 1, Tax District 14, in St. Tammany Parish. The state keeps the mineral rights, and Mandeville must provide value proportionate to the property’s appraised value. The secretary can sign agreements setting the terms and completing the transaction. The law sets no transfer date or intended use and provides no direct household payment.
