Prison degree credit now includes associate's degrees

Louisiana law expands prison education credits to include associate's degrees, alongside bachelor's degrees. Eligible people can earn an additional 90 days of credit toward reducing their projected good-time parole supervision date. They must meet the existing eligibility rules and earn the degree while incarcerated. The school must be regionally accredited and approved by the department.
