Youth program funding shifts to juvenile justice

Each fiscal year, Louisiana directs 15% of criminal justice reform savings to its juvenile justice office for the Back on Track Youth Pilot Program. The dollar amount depends on yearly savings. The office replaces the Louisiana Children's Trust Fund Board as fund manager and can address funding changes. Selected nonprofits run the program with the juvenile justice office, Department of Children and Family Services, and Department of Education. Louisiana Works is no longer listed among the program's administrators.
