Louisiana school boards can partner with a bank or credit union to run a branch at a high school. The branch must be part of the required financial literacy course, giving students opportunities to practice money-management skills. Boards can also allow school buildings to be used after regular hours for academic activities, including tutoring and study hall. Boards must set rules covering the terms, conditions, and any fees for after-hours use.
