Louisiana filers get new refund donation choices

For tax years beginning on or after January 1, 2027, Louisiana individual income tax filers owed refunds have two new donation choices. You can give all or part of your refund to the Grambling University National Alumni Association or Louisiana Tech University Alumni Association. Choose on your current-year tax return when filing; your refund drops by the amount you donate. The Louisiana Department of Revenue handles the money and sends it to the chosen association. Donations remain valid without a formal notarized donation document.
