Louisiana Asset Management Pool gains retirement access

The law lets the Louisiana Asset Management Pool participate in Louisiana's Municipal Employees' Retirement System. This opens retirement benefit access for eligible Pool employees under the system's existing participation rules. It does not change benefit formulas, contribution rates, or retirement eligibility rules. The law takes effect upon the governor's signature or when the deadline for becoming law without signature passes. After a veto override, it takes effect the next day.
