Overdue alimony follows court order terms

Beginning January 1, 2027, New Hampshire requires orders for payment of overdue alimony to be enforced as written. This rule applies unless both parties agree to change the order or it is changed under RSA 458:19-aa. It supports recipients seeking unpaid alimony and holds payers to amounts already owed. The law does not create new collection tools.
