More roaming freedom for crop-guarding farm dogs
Beginning January 1, 2027, New Hampshire allows crop-guarding dogs to run at large under an exception to dog-control rules. The dog must be accompanied by its owner or custodian. That person must see or hear the dog, or have reasonable knowledge of its location. The dog does not need to stay in sight at all times.
