Housing at Great Bay for students, staff, and Guard
The law lets the state authority, working with the community college system and the state military department, authorize, lease, or help build and run housing on Great Bay Community College land at Pease. Units can serve GBCC students, faculty, and staff, and active or reserve New Hampshire National Guard members on duty in the state. It overrides other state and local limits for this site so projects can move ahead. A task force studies housing models, funding, ownership, staffing, and outcomes, and must report by December 30, 2026. The law takes effect upon passage.
