New branch office rules for New Hampshire brokers
The law treats any location that supervises agents at one or more non-branch sites as a branch office. A private home is not a branch office only if the firm designates it as a residential supervisory location and follows FINRA Rule 3110.19, or a successor rule. Broker-dealers and supervisors face added branch-office compliance at covered sites. This aligns state rules with FINRA guidance. The law takes effect upon passage.
