Families get clearer school meal application links
Beginning June 18, 2026, New Jersey public schools must prominently post links on their websites to the subsidized meal application. Schools must also link to at least one application video made by the New Jersey Office of the Food Security Advocate. These links help families find information about applying for free or reduced-price meals. The law does not change who qualifies or how much meal help they receive.
