More winery sales options with salesroom fees

Beginning January 20, 2026, New Jersey farm wineries and eligible plenary wineries can sell wine by the glass off-site. Each winery can use up to 15 salesrooms for customers to drink their purchases there. Plenary wineries qualify only if they produce no more than 250,000 gallons a year. These sales can also include wine mixed with nonalcoholic drinks. Each salesroom requires a $250 fee and cannot be on restaurant premises.
