2 provisions identified: 1 benefits, 1 costs, 0 mixed.
The Traumatic Brain Injury Services Coordinating Council must set long-term goals and priorities for the Health Department. It must review service access, costs, and regional gaps. It must look at new trends, provider training, Medicaid waiver differences, and how services are approved or denied. The council must post its recommendations on the Health Department website. It must do this within one year of this paragraph taking effect, and every year after.
The law repeals the 2024 requirement for a state study on services for people with traumatic brain injury. The Health Department and the Office for People With Developmental Disabilities no longer must conduct that study. This change does not alter current benefits or eligibility. It takes effect on the same date as the 2024 chapter that had required the study.
