Wage deduction rules extended 2 years

The law extends the state’s rules that allow certain wage deductions. Beginning 60 days after enactment, those wage‑deduction rules apply. They remain in force for 16 years from that start date, replacing the old 14‑year end date. Employers can keep taking only the deductions the law permits. Workers may see those deductions while the law is in effect. All other parts of this act take effect immediately.
