Syracuse hotels keep charging local tax
The City of Syracuse can keep charging its local hotel and motel tax through December 31, 2029. The law takes effect immediately and applies to contracts signed on or after the effective date. Hotel and motel operators in Syracuse continue to collect this tax from guests. The law does not change the tax rate.
