Victims get mailed felony case outcome

Beginning 180 days after enactment, the district attorney must mail a written summary of the case outcome. This applies when a defendant is sentenced for a felony or is acquitted after trial. It goes to any victim who was not in court at that time. The law requires a mailed, written summary but does not set a deadline or specify the contents.
