The law takes effect immediately. Tuckahoe’s occupancy tax stays in place until September 1, 2027, when it expires unless renewed. Lodging operators must keep charging and sending the tax to the village. Guests continue to pay the occupancy tax on overnight stays in Tuckahoe.
