One website for state and local jobs

The Department of Civil Service now posts all state civil service jobs on its jobs website. Listings include vacancies in the competitive, non‑competitive, and labor classes. The site shows exam announcements, how to apply for tests, and whether jobs are full‑time or part‑time. It also marks jobs open to people with disabilities and veterans with disabilities. Cities, towns, villages, and counties can post their own openings on the same site. You can search by municipality and by job type.

Agencies coordinate postings on state site

The president of Civil Service works with the State Department of Labor, the Governor’s labor relations office, and local governments. They coordinate to put municipal job postings on the state jobs website and keep the system running smoothly.
