Authorizes the town of Hurley to alienate certain lands used as parklands and to dedicate certain other lands as parklands

Hurley can replace parkland for highway garage

Effective immediately, Hurley can give up 8.300 acres of parkland for a new town highway garage. Before or during that change, the town must set aside 8.003 acres as replacement parkland. The replacement land must never have been used for parks or public open space. If it is worth less, Hurley must spend the value difference on more parkland or major park and recreation improvements. If the original land received federal funding, Hurley must meet all federal requirements before giving it up. These include replacement land of equal market value and usefulness, with the substitution accepted by the U.S. Secretary of the Interior.
