The law keeps the September 11th Worker Protection Task Force active through June 10, 2030. It was set to end on June 10, 2025. This preserves the task force’s legal authority and existing protections for 9/11 workers and responders. The act takes effect immediately. It does not add new funding or change who is eligible for any benefits.
