Fishing seasons and limits set through 2028

New York’s environmental agency sets fishing seasons, size and catch limits, and how fish may be taken. This authority covers all species in all state waters, unless a specific rule in Article 13 already applies. It does not cover certain named marine fish already listed in state law. The authority runs through December 31, 2028. The law takes effect immediately.
