The law requires prevailing wage pay for workers who deliver or haul concrete or asphalt for public works in Nassau, Putnam, Suffolk, Westchester, and New York City. It covers return trips, whether the truck is empty or loaded. It also covers time spent loading and unloading. The rule takes effect immediately and applies to contracts signed on or after the law’s enactment date.
