Civil service letter rules start later

The law delays the new appointment and promotion letter rules for civil service jobs. They start on the earlier of December 31, 2027, or 30 days after the Commissioner of Civil Service certifies the department’s computer system can support the changes. The Commissioner must notify the Legislative Bill Drafting Commission when giving that certification. This act itself takes effect now.
