Extra 1% sales tax in Schuyler County

Schuyler County is authorized to charge an extra 1% local sales and use tax. This is on top of the county’s 3% rate, for a combined 4% county rate on taxable purchases. The authorization covers September 1, 1999 through November 30, 2027. The law takes effect immediately. You pay this extra 1% on taxable purchases made in Schuyler County during this period.
